Thank you to all of those who attended our Ladies Night Out last week. We have enjoyed the opportunity to be able to get to know other offices and their team members.
A special THANK YOU goes out to Cynthia Matthews, who was our guest speaker. She discussed how to help manage our COLLECTIONS and tips to keeping that a successful part of our practices.
Thank you also to The Oral and Maxilofacial Surgeons of Utah. (Dr. Chandler, Dr. Broadbent, & Dr. Liston) who hosted the Ladies Night Out at their Layton office.

Ladies Night Out Event--March 2012
Hello dear friends,
We would like to remind/inform all of you of our next "Ladies Night Out" event that is coming up shortly in only 2 days! :)
It will be Wednesday, March 21st, 2012 from 6:30-8:00pm and will be hosted by our dear friends at OMFS of Utah, in their Layton office location. (2297 No. Hillfield Rd, Bldg #A, Suite #105, Laytong, Utah)
We are having a special speaker by the name of Cynthia Matthews. She is a CPA and has over 30+ years with that and working with Collections in the dental field. She will be talking to us about the importance of staying on top of your office collections, how to manage them successfully and tips to make it easier! We will then have the floor open for questions for her.
We have sent out invitations via e-mail, but if you have not seen it, please know that you ARE invited and we would LOVE for you to join us that night!

Welcome and Thank You!
Welcome to Dental Divas! This blog was created by Dr. Michael S. Affleck's team members. Our goal for this blog and our program is to join together with the other women (office managers, assistants, hygienists, marketing spec., etc.) in our surrounding dental practices and help each other and learn from one another to make our practices grow and be as successful as we can!
We know we all have things in our offices that we need help with, this program is an opportunity to bring that specific problem to "Dental Divas Girls Night Out" and discuss the issue. Chances are... there is bound to be someone in the group who has an idea on how to improve, fix or resolve the issue. We've all been there, we're all still learning, and continuing to challenge ourselves to better ourselves and our practices!
This is also an opportunity to build relationships with referring/surrounding dental offices/specialists. The more comfortable we feel with the offices, the more likely we are to make sure our patients get the best care around! It also builds a foundation to grow upon and feel comfortable asking questions we may have just ignored.
We started our GIRLS NIGHT OUT last Thursday, November 9, 2011 at Mimi's Cafe in Layton, Utah. We want to say a special THANK YOU to the offices of OMFS of Utah, Dr. Argyle, Dr. Smyth, and Dr. Peck. We enjoyed having you ladies join us that evening and learning how we can make this program successful! It was encouraging and motivating to learn that we're not the only ones who want to be apart of a program like this one!
We will be doing another Dental Divas Girls Night Out in March 2012. The event does not have any details at this time, but keep March open and we will give you the details on it as soon as we can!
Thank you again, and please tell anyone you know about this program. We would love to make this a very successful program. The more dental office team members, the better!
